Established 1954

Serving Washington-area Weimaraner owners since 1954.

Serving enthusiasts across Washington, D.C., Maryland, Virginia and the surrounding region.

WCWDCA encourages and promotes the breeding of purebred Weimaraners while protecting the qualities that make this versatile sporting breed exceptional.

Our purpose

The club supports the AKC breed standard and advances the breed through sportsmanlike competition in conformation, field trials, hunt tests, ratings, agility, obedience, rally and other performance events.

We conduct licensed and sanctioned events under the rules of the American Kennel Club and the Weimaraner Club of America, and create opportunities for members and their families to learn, participate and build friendships.
